 Verona
Airport is situated on the south-western outskirts of
the city of Verona in the Veneto region of northern Italy.
The airport is also known as Verona - Villafranca and
Valerio Catullo Airport: Villafranca is the local province;
Valerio Catullo was a 1st century Roman poet, born in
Verona. The airport enjoyed rapid expansion over the first
10 years of the 21st century and currently handles more
than 3 million passengers annually, over 300,000 of which
fly from the United Kingdom. Verona Airport has two terminal
buildings with one each for Departures and Arrivals. There
is the full range of facilities at Verona that is to be
expected from any modern international airport and the
extensive car parks can house nearly 5000 vehicles, including
over 700 spaces under-cover.
The Hertz car rental offices at Verona Airport are located
outside the Arrivals Terminal in a separate building in
the car park; a walk of about 100m. The rental vehicle
car park is at the back of this building and is convenient
for hire car collection and return. Hertz Verona Airport
provide a wide selection of hire cars to ensure that all
clients' requirements are accommodated. As well as the
standard vehicles on offer including the usual range of
small- and medium-sized hatchbacks and executive saloons,
Hertz also provide a number of more exclusive models to
choose from. These include six- and seven-seater people
carriers, sports models, luxury cars such as Mercedes
and low emission vehicles from the Green Collection. There
are even commercial vehicles available for those needing
to move goods or furniture. Most rentals can be booked
online from the Hertz website and there are preferential
rates for advanced reservations. |
